Open Position: Senior Pastor
The Pastoral search committee is now accepting resumes for the position of Senior Pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church of Ansonia Ct. We are seeking a pastor who will lead by example in that they will demonstrate a Christian character with integrity. The applicant must possess a servant's heart to shepherd this flock with a rich history spanning 125 years. MBC is known as a "Church with a heart, in the heart of Ansonia". We desire an ordained Baptist Minister of the Gospel who will continue the legacy of Kingdom building by equipping the saints. The candidate's work and walk must be in line with 1 Timothy 3:1-7. Their administrative and organizational skills must be in the nature of decency and in order, while their leadership style encourages, respects, and values the skills of the membership in this ministry. Part of the applicant's vision for our church should be to grow us in ways that are multicolor and multinational. In addition to Bible Study and Community support, we seek a minister with a heart for visitation and pastoral care.
